Oct. 27. 2026, Zirui Wang, On the Stability of Type II Blowup for the Keller-Segel System in High Dimensions.
Zirui Wang will give a talk on 10/27/2026.
The Keller–Segel system is a classical model of chemotaxis, describing the movement of cells or bacteria in response to chemical signals. The system exhibits a rich variety of mathematical behaviors, including global well-posedness and finite-time blowup. In this talk, I will discuss Type II blowup for the Keller–Segel system in high dimensions, focusing on how to determine the blowup rates of tail-driven solutions and establish their stability. This is joint work with Thomas Y. Hou, Xiang Qin, and Peicong Song.
